What is Love

Wannes Wynants created a short dance piece for the graduation performance of Fien Van Der Slycken. In her show, What Is Love, Fien rehearsed alongside four incredible women, engaging in discussions, dancing, singing, and writing about love. This collaborative effort culminated in a montage performance that blends music, spoken word, and dance.

The piece explores the question of whether an 8-year-old and a 75-year-old truly perceive love differently. Through their diverse perspectives, Fien and her collaborators invite the audience to reflect on the various interpretations and experiences of love across generations.
